Massey Ferguson 135 information and specifications

Massey Ferguson 135 tractors were retailed in South Africa with two basic variations in early and later models. The early model had a rounded front axle the same as its predecessor the 35X with a six speed gearbox and the later model with a straight front axle and a 8 speed gearbox. Hydraulics were upgraded to a MK11 pump and a few models prior to the introduction to the MF240 with MK111 hydraulic systems. The Perkins 4-152 motor was a direct injection and was an extremely easy starter in cold conditions without the characteristic diesel knock of the previous 152 motor found in the older 35X. Still ever popular today the 135 is a reliable and easy to maintain workhorse with all spares currently available.
